EPA Approves 3 Rust-Oleum Cleaning Products Effective Against COVID-19

Three Rust-Oleum cleaning products have been approved by the EPA as effective against COVID-19: Krud Kutter Heavy Duty Cleaner & Disinfectant, Mean Green Anti-Bacterial Multi Surface Cleaner, and Mean Green Pine Power.

According to Rust-Oleum, they have demonstrated effectiveness against viruses similar to SARS-CoV-2 on hard, non-porous surfaces.

Therefore, Krud Kutter Heavy Duty Cleaner & Disinfectant, Mean Green Anti-Bacterial Multi Surface Cleaner, and Mean Green Pine Power can be used against SARS-CoV-2 when used in accordance with the directions for use against Coronavirus on non-porous surfaces, the company said.

Krud Kutter Heavy Duty Cleaner & Disinfectant, Mean Green Anti-Bacterial Multi Surface Cleaner, and Mean Green Pine Power are proven effective on another human coronavirus similar to SARS-CoV-2 which causes COVID-19 per EPA Reg. No 10324-85, per Rustoleum, adding these products kill Coronavirus in 10 minutes.

The Krud Kutter & Mean Green products are available in home centers and hardware stores nationally plus select grocery stores and online retailers, though availability may be limited due to demand.
